Villages Independence Festival

In celebration of America’s 250^th anniversary, the six Memorial Villages, in partnership with the Memorial Villages Police Department and Village Fire Department, will host a special Villages Independence Festival & Parade on Saturday, July 4, 2026! 

Event Schedule

Fun Run & Bike Ride - 9:45 a.m. 

The Fun Run and Bike Ride begins at 9:45 a.m. from Memorial Church of Christ. Runners, walkers, cyclists, and pets are asked to dress in red, white, and blue! 

Parade - 10:00 a.m.

Parade begins at 10:00 a.m. from Memorial Church of Christ at Gaylord and Echo Ln., continues east on Gaylord to Piney Point Rd., turns south on Piney Point Rd. and ends at Ecclesia.

Festival - 10:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. 

The outdoor festival begins at 10:30 a.m. when the parade arrives at Ecclesia. Enjoy food, music, games, and more! Stay to the end to enjoy a water "cool down" from the Village Fire Department ladder truck!
