Mayor Lord has a passion for public service that runs deep - he is the fourth consecutive generation in his family to hold a state or local political office. He has served as liaison to the Planning and Zoning Commission and was a founding member of the City's Drainage Committee. As Mayor, his focus is on public safety and continuing the City's financial goals which include paying down debt responsibly and to be a pay-as-you-go city. Mayor Lord and his wife have four daughters. |

Gerardo Barrera began serving as City Administrator in January 2023. He is responsible to the Mayor and Council for the efficient administration of all City operations, including fiscal responsibility, staff management and promotes the best interests of the City and its residents. He has 20 years of experience in municipal government. Prior to his appointment, he served as Public Works Director for the City of West University Place. Alongside staff, his priorities are to serve the residents of Bunker Hill Village through servant leadership, exceptional customer service, and responsible financial management. He is a Certified Public Manager (CPM), and earned a bachelor’s degree and MBA from the University of Houston/Downtown. He is an active member of the American Public Works Association, the Texas City Management Association and participates in several local committees. |

In this capacity, he oversees all facets of the Public Works Department, including water and wastewater, streets, sidewalks, capital projects, and community development. Elvin is a Veteran of the United States Navy and a graduate of the University of Incarnate Word in San Antonio, Texas.

Susan joined the City in 2020 as Finance Manager and has since been promoted to Finance Director. As Finance Director, she handles all financial operations of the City. With over 25 years of finance experience, primarily in audit, she provides great expertise and experience to the City. Valerie has worked as the City's Municipal Court Administrator since 2007. She previously worked with the City of Katy Municipal Court and Harris County Precinct 3 Commissioner Raddack's office. Valerie is certified as a Court Clerk Level II through the Texas Municipal Court Clerk's Association. Valerie assists with development services and utilities as needed, and manages office operations. She has two daughters and two grandchildren. |

In this capacity, she carries out a variety of administrative and analytical duties to support operations throughout all city departments. He holds a level B Water System License and a Texas Wastewater Collection System License. He is experienced with the operation of all the City's maintenance equipment, and is responsible for the operation of the City's computer control system for the water production plants. Gama is married and has two children. He is an avid reader and enjoys fine art. |

He holds a level C Water License and a Texas Animal Control License. His duties include operation of the City's excavation and maintenance equipment, system operation, and public works maintenance. Howard Miller was appointed Fire Chief of the Village Fire Department (VFD) in 2024. Chief Miller joined VFD as a firefighter in 1980 and was later promoted to Deputy Chief. He also serves as the Training Officer and Emergency Management Coordinator for the Department. He attended West Texas A&M Fire School. He has been married for 37 years and has four daughters and eight grandchildren. |

Chief Ray Schultz is a 36-year veteran of Law Enforcement starting his career in 1982 with the Albuquerque, New Mexico Police Department. Chief Schultz worked his way up through the ranks of the department and moved to Scottsdale, Arizona to serve as an Assistant Chief. He returned to Albuquerque as the Chief of Police in 2005. In 2015, Chief Schultz came to work for the Memorial Villages Police Department and assumed the position of Chief in 2017. Chief Schultz is a graduate of the FBI National Academy, the FBI National Executive Institute and the Northwest Law Enforcement Executive Command College program. He is married and has three children and three grandchildren. |
