Solid Waste, Recycling & Yard Waste

 The City contracts with Texas Pride Disposal for solid waste, recycling, and yard waste collection services. 

Service and Collection Guidelines 

• To ensure proper collection, and to find your collection day, view the Collection Guidelines. All trash, recycling, yard waste, and other materials eligible for collection must meet the guidelines established by Texas Pride. 
• Place carts curbside before 7:00 a.m. on your collection day. 
• For back door service, carts must be visible from the street and not behind a closed or locked gate. 
• Collection typically occurs between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Occasional service delays may happen due to inclement weather or other factors. Please allow until 6:00 p.m. for pickup to occur. If your trash or recycling has not been collected by 6:00 p.m., contact City Hall the next business day.
  • Once a missed collection is reported, City staff will notify Texas Pride and request service. Texas Pride is responsible for dispatching crews to complete missed pickups. Please note that City staff cannot guarantee a specific timeframe for when missed collections will be completed.
