THE BID OPENING HAS BEEN MOVED TO JANUARY 28, 2021.
The City of Bunker Hill Village seeks bids for furnishing all labor, material, and equipment, and performing all work required for the following project in the City:
Construction of Water Well No. 5
Sealed bids, in duplicate and with an electronic copy, will be received at the Office of the City Secretary, City of Bunker Hill Village City Hall, until 3:00 p.m., January 21, 2021, and then publicly opened and read via Zoom (see below) in the City Council Chambers. Sealed bids received after the opening date and time will not be considered.

A Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 13, 2021. No bid will be accepted by the OWNER if Bidder fails to attend the pre-bid conference.
Work under this Contract includes, but is not limited to, the following: Construction of an approximately 1,400 vertical foot water well, including drilling of test hole, geophysical logging, water samples, two-piece gravel pack well and submersible pump. Work also includes electrical for a fully operational water well and the installation and removal of a temporary self-supporting sound wall during construction.
Bunker Hill will give notice of the contract award within sixty (60) calendar days after the opening date and time.
Plans, Specifications, and Bidding Documents are on file for inspection at www.civcastusa.com. There is no cost to view plans, and printing can be done through the website or in your own office. Sets of hard copies of Bidding Documents will not be sold.

In conformance with applicable statutes, the general prevailing wage rates in the locality in which the work is to be performed have been ascertained, and such rates shall be the minimum paid for labor employed upon this project. In addition, the successful Contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of race, color, religion, sex, age, or national origin. Contractor will be required to submit ethics commission form 1295 prior to award of a contract by the City of Bunker Hill Village.
