 lace on&nbsp\;July 4&nbsp\;and kicks off with the Festival Parade at 9:00 
 a.m.&nbsp\;The parade route begins at the Memorial Church of Christ at Gay
 lord and Echo Lane\, continues east on Gaylord to N. Piney Point. It then 
 turns south on N. Piney Point and concludes at&nbsp\;&nbsp\;Ecclesia on th
 e West Side (Previously known as&nbsp\;Memorial Drive Baptist Church) arou
 nd 9:45 am. Traditional parade participants include decorated cars and flo
 ats from&nbsp\; the cities.&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;Residents are encouraged t
 o dress up for the holiday\, decorate their bikes&nbsp\;and join the parad
 e!\n&nbsp\;\nFollowing the parade\, the Villages Independence Day Festival
  will continue at&nbsp\;Ecclesia on the West Side (Previously known as Mem
 orial Drive Baptist Church)&nbsp\;at 325 N. Piney Point Rd. At 10:00 a.m.\
 , the opening ceremony will take place with all of the Mayors and Dignitar
 ies. Enjoy kid-friendly activities\,&nbsp\; food and drinks and musical en
 tertainment throughout the morning!&nbsp\;\nThe Festival concludes at 1:00
  p.m. with the tradional spray from the big ladder truck from the Villages
  Fire Department. It sprays water from the top of its fully extended ladde
 r over the kids\, who gather in the middle of the grounds.\n&nbsp\;\n&nbsp
 \;\nThe premier sponsors of the festival are the Cities of Piney Point Vil
 lage\, Bunker Hill Village\, Hunters Creek Village\, Hedwig Village\, Spri
 ng Valley and Hilshire Village and the host sponsor is&nbsp\;Ecclesia on t
 he West Side (Previously known as Memorial Drive Baptist Church).Since par
 king is limited in the area\, a shuttle service to the main festival site 
 will run from Memorial Senior High School and from the Memorial Drive Pres
 byterian Church (MDPC) parking lots.&nbsp\; &nbsp\;The shuttle busses will
  make a continuous loop starting at 8:15 a.m.\, pause while the parade goe
