The City has amended the sign ordinance limiting the height at which a sign may be displayed.

SIGN ORDINANCE UPDATE

The City Council amended the noise ordinance by establishing "Quiet Hours" in which excessive sound is not allowed.  In addition, a suggested procedure for larger events is established.

Noise Ordinance Update

The City Council adopted a modification to the rules for a more than 50% (Rebuild) interior remodel.  This modification allows an interior rebuild of a structure with some type of EXTERIOR non-comformity as long as there are no planned modifications to the exterior of the structure.  Ordinance references appear both in Chapter 4 and the Appendix A Zoning ordinances.  The City requires that all property owners, contractors, architects and other design related professionals attend a PRE-DEVELOPMENT meeting with the City's Building Official for a complete expanation of this ordinance.

The drainage ordinances were updated to require a standard detention amount for lots that are less than 25,000 square feet.  The drainage detention will be calculated based on 45% of the lot.
